Not to ruin your speech, but I consider that the task in hand goes deeper than the concept of "blamming" and "protecting".
Some things just don't deserve to stay on the Portal, and that's why the Under Judgment process exists... for users to "judge" what gets to be sent to the Obituaries, or else kept for the community to be seen.
Don't think of it as a simple "murder or save" dilemma, but rather as an entertaining maintenance procedure.
